1. Quotations
All quotations are provided free of charge and are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated. Quotations are based on the information available at the time of survey. Any changes to the scope of work may result in a revised quotation.
2. Acceptance of Work
Work is accepted when a written or verbal confirmation is provided by the customer. We reserve the right to request a deposit before commencing work, particularly for materials-heavy projects.
3. Payment
Payment is due on completion of works unless a stage-payment schedule has been agreed in writing. We accept bank transfer, cash, and card. Invoices unpaid after 14 days may be subject to a late payment charge.
4. Workmanship Guarantee
All workmanship is guaranteed for a period of 12 months from the date of completion. This guarantee covers defects arising from faulty workmanship and does not cover damage caused by third parties, accidental damage, or normal wear and tear.
5. Materials
We use reputable branded materials wherever possible. Exact products and brands may vary subject to availability. Any substitution will be of equivalent or better quality. Material manufacturer's warranties are passed on to the customer where applicable.
6. Access and Site Conditions
The customer is responsible for ensuring adequate access to the work area and for notifying us of any underground services, pipes, or cables. We cannot be held responsible for damage to unmarked underground services.
7. Cancellation
Should you need to cancel or postpone, please give us at least 48 hours notice. Cancellation within 48 hours of the agreed start date may result in a charge to cover any materials already ordered or preparation work carried out.
8. Liability
Southwest Driveways and Roofing is fully insured for public liability and employers liability. Our liability is limited to the value of the contracted works. We cannot be held liable for consequential loss or damage.
9. Disputes
In the unlikely event of a dispute, please contact us in writing at Tradepricebristol@gmail.com. We will endeavour to resolve all issues fairly and promptly. If a resolution cannot be reached, disputes are subject to the laws of England and Wales.
